In his homily during the midnight Mass for the Feast of Jesus Nazarene at Quirino Grandstand in Manila, Cardinal Jose Advincula warned against becoming slaves to money, bad influences, and vices, stressing that such paths only lead to failure and disappointment. He emphasized that what people choose to follow reveals their true hopes in life, and that only devotion to Jesus Nazareno can bring enduring hope. Advincula called on the faithful to live by Jesus’ commandments and follow His example, especially as the early morning “Traslacion” procession drew thousands of devotees.
