
The Department of Communication is set to hold an insightful lecture titled “Faith in the Feed: The Challenges of Vatican Communications in a Fast-Changing Media Landscape” on March 17, 2025 (Monday), from 2:00 to 3:30 PM at the Case Study Room, Social Sciences Building.
Renowned international communications expert Andrea Sarubbi will be the keynote speaker. With over 20 years of experience in media, advocacy, and Catholic ministry, Sarubbi has worked with La Sicilia, Vatican Radio, Swiss Radio, Rai, and TV2000. He has also served in the Italian Parliament (Camera dei Deputati) and as a strategic communications coordinator for the Jesuit Foundation for Education. Currently, he is the Senior Advisor for Outreach and The Pope Video Coordinator for The Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network.
The lecture will delve into the evolving landscape of Vatican communications, highlighting the challenges and opportunities in engaging global audiences and fostering meaningful dialogue in the digital era.
