Eduardo Hontiveros, SJ, the “Father of Filipino Liturgical Music.” PURIHI’T PASALAMATAN seeks to inspire a new generation of composers to create original liturgical music in the vernacular, strengthening the connection between Filipino faith and culture through sacred music.
📝 Open to all Filipino composers, the competition offers cash prizes:
🏆 ₱100,000 – 1st Prize
🥈 ₱50,000 – 2nd Prize
🥉 ₱30,000 – 3rd Prize
🎵 ₱10,000 – for each finalist
